WolfQuest's first edition, WolfQuest: Legacy, was released on October 31, 2007. This game could be played on any device. The WolfQuest developers, Eduweb or better known as Dave Schaller, started making a remake of WolfQuest: Legacy called WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition.WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition was first released on Steam and Itch.io in July of 2019 but only for pc and laptop. This was an early version of the game but was more realistic than the very first game. The full release of WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition was on July 22, 2025. Even with the full release out, developers still continue to make updates on maps and with the game mechanics and animals.
