WolfQuest is a realistic indie game where the player plays as a wolf and goes through the cycles of how a real wolf would live in Yellowstone National Park. The player is able to make a wolf and customize it before starting the game. The player will go through many challenges after figuring out how to hunt and impressing an NPC (Non Player Character) wolf who will be your mate (partner) in game and help create a wolf pack. For example, some challenges include: keeping territory and fighting off rivals, growing pups up and hunting for them, protecting pups against predators, and teaching pups how to hunt after they reach a certain weight amount.
The game has many customization options for making your wolf. You are also allowed to name your own wolf as well and able to give them certain attributes that will help the wolf or make the wolf weaker. The player can also buy maps and physical feature packs on steam to help spice up the game and make it more interesting. WolfQuest:Anniversary Edition comes with two standard maps and a few standard coats but with the packs you unlock more customization options and you can unlock two more maps to explore on.
